Patricia Hawley Obituary

Patricia "Trish" Hawley

Patricia "Trish" Kidd Hawley of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late Lou Homer and Pearl McMann Kidd of Covington, Va. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles "Sonny" Hawley; sister, Marilyn Kidd; and brother, Edward Kidd. Survivors include several cousins.

Trish was employed at Eli Lilly until her retirement. She was a member of First Evangelical Presbyterian Church.

An avid animal lover, she would always come to their rescue if she saw one being mistreated. She enjoyed planting and tending her flower beds which she found relaxing and rewarding. Trish's favorite pastime, however, was socializing with family and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 6, 2025, at Oakey's South Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Trish's memory can be made to Angels of Assisi, 725 Franklin Road, SW, Roanoke, VA 24016 or to the Roanoke Valley SPCA, 1340 Baldwin Ave., SE, Roanoke, VA 24012. Condolences may be shared at www.Oakeys.com.
