Peggy Sifford Obituary

Peggy Jarrell Sifford, 69, of Christiansburg, died on Monday, June 25, 2007 at Montgomery Regional Hospital. She was born in Montgomery County on May 30, 1938. She was preceded in death by her mother, Issie Phillips Jarrell. She is survived by one daughter and companion, Joan Orange and Sturgill Osbourne of Fries, Va.; one son, Curtis Sifford, Jr. of Pembroke; father, George Edward Jarrell of Blacksburg; five grandchildren, Christopher Sifford, Amanda Sifford, Andy Orange, Becky Newberry and husband Charlie; special granddaughter and care giver, April Orange and companion David Custer; great grandchildren, Gladys Newberry, Destiny Newberry; special great-granddaughter, Lacy Custer; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Conelia and Bobby Sifford of Blacksburg, Bonnie and Don Bennett of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Janice and Emerson Rudacille of Front Royal, Va.; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Delmon and Susie Jarrell and Larry and Nancy Jarrell, all of Christiansburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Stan Thompson officiating. Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens Christiansburg. Friends may call anytime after 12 noon on Wednesday, June 27, 2007 and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home , 150 Country Club Drive SW., Blacksburg.
