I didn't know Hippie - but I know his son Alvin. Alvin is a fine man - which is a direct reflection on his father. I know Alvin was very proud of his father and that he will miss him. God Bless the family.

I'm a new member at AmVets Post 32 and never had a chance to meet Hippie. Well, that's my chance lost, but the Lord's chance gained. Hippie, rest in peace and ride on forever.

Ralph, I just wanted to say how much I love & appreciate you. You came to my rescue numerous times. Even let me tattle on Alvin, which usually ended up you telling me "That's Life", which made me crazy. Thanks for teaching me the ropes when it came to being a Woods! I'll miss you, your not so sugar & sweet daughter in law...Angie Love Ya
