Mr. Ralph A. (Hippie) Woods, of Lakeland, Fla., died on Sunday, May 27, 2007. A Memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at 6 p.m. at Lakeland Funeral Home.

I didn't know Hippie - but I know his son Alvin. Alvin is a fine man - which is a direct reflection on his father. I know Alvin was very proud of his father and that he will miss him. God Bless the family.

Ralph, I just wanted to say how much I love & appreciate you. You came to my rescue numerous times. Even let me tattle on Alvin, which usually ended up you telling me "That's Life", which made me crazy. Thanks for teaching me the ropes when it came to being a Woods!
