Reba Costigan Obituary

Reba Cromer Costigan, 88, of Blacksburg, died Tuesday, January 30, 2007 at Heritage Hall Health Care Center. She was born in Ellett Valley, Va. on December 12, 1918 to the late Charles Edward and Lilly Mae Carter Cromer. She was also preceded in death by her three husbands, William Massie Poff, Russell Kessinger, Frank E. Costigan; one son, Eugene Roger Poff, two brothers, Henry and Wilson Cromer; and two sisters, Emma and Virginia Lovern. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Zetta Cromer of Ellett; five grandchildren, Pam Whittaker and husband, Donald, Dodie Webb and husband, Billy, Kim Moore, Kevin Poff and wife, Joy, Mandi Huff and husband, Mark; 11 great-grandchildren; and two greatgreatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 1, 2007 at 11 a.m. in the Ellett Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Steve Akers officiating. Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ellett Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church, P.O. Box 328, Christiansburg, Va. 24073. Friends may call anytime after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Ellett Valley Pentecostal Holiness Church, and the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday evening at the church. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr., SW, Blacksburg.
