Robert Altizer Obituary

Robert Lee (Bobby) Altizer, 66, of Christiansburg, Va., passed away Friday, February 20, 2009, in Montgomery Regional Hospital. The son of the late Shelor Guy and Juanita W. Altizer, he is survived by his children, Troy Dewayne Altizer, James Robert Altizer, Debra Lynn Akers and husband, Bill, Scott Jason Graves and wife, Patrice Nicole; grandchildren, Amanda Akers, Jessie Akers, Kali Akers, Alyssa Graves, Diamond Graves, Alaysia Graves; adopted grandchildren, Robert Hayden, William Hayden and Constance Stuart; brothers and sisters, Joanne Altizer Via, Billy and Martha Altizer, James Edward and Velva Altizer, Shelor Guy Altizer (Peanut) and Barbara Altizer; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and special friends. The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009, at the Horne Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 7 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009, in the Horne Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Pastor Jerry Shepherd and Pastor Bob Smith. Online condolences may be sent via hornefuneralservice.com. The Altizer family is in the care of Horne Funeral Service.
