Robert DEBO Obituary

Robert (David) Debo, 49, of Roanoke, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 20, 2013. David graduated in 1982 from Roanoke Catholic School. He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome "Jerry" Debo Sr.; brother, Doug Debo; sister, Diane D. Wills.
David is survived by his mother, Sylvia H. Debo; sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah and Dennis Callahan, Donna and Jay Nash; brother-in-law, Jackie Wills; nine nieces and nephews; thirteen great nieces and nephews; many aunts, uncles and cousins; two special friends, J. and Kiki.
A funeral Mass will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at St. Andrew's Catholic Church, with Father Louie Benoit officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 until 9 p.m. at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel, with a prayer service at 7 p.m. www.oakeys.com.

I remember so many good memories of David, His Uncle and I visited Roanoke to see Bob's mother in the nursing home monthly and always saw David & Sylvia & spent hours with them. David was an interesting conversationist and we laughed about many things over the years. He was bright, kind, funny & had a big heart. I truly miss David & Sylvia so much! RIP my friends.

My thoughts and prayers are with the whole family. My parents used to baby sit with most of the kids. Mom fixed potato soup and they just loved it. We pray God will help you with each tomorrow. Losing a loved one is not easy to face but God can be there with strength to help you.
