Roger Mundy Obituary
December 11, 1945 - February 7, 2022
Roger Lee Mundy, 76, of Roanoke, Va., passed away on Monday, February 7, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Elsie Mundy; brother, Lewis Mundy; sisters, Loretta Noble and Margaret Ann Barker.
Roger was owner and operator of Roger's Barber & Styling Shop for many years.
Surviving is his wife of 48 years, Ann Franklin Mundy; daughter, Diane Connell (Mike); sons, Mark Mundy (Ashley) and Jason Mundy (Sabrina); stepson, Barry Aldrich; and granddaughters, Tabitha Connell and Decklynn Mundy.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022, at Oakey's North Chapel with Pastor Rodney Spears officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the 2 p.m. service time on Friday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be made at www.oakeys.com.

My heart & sympathies go out to Ann & the boys & Dianne. Roger was such a good & nice man. You both raised 3 fine sons (Barry said that he was 7 when you guys married, so he raised Barry, too, along with Mark & Jason. I know that your sons will take good care of you Ann now that Roger is no longer with you. I always enjoyed hearing of all of the trips that you & Roger took each year.

My deepest condolences to you Ann and the family. Roger was a true friend who I knew for over 40 years. He started cutting my hair when I was a young police officer. I will miss our conversations. Thoughts and prayers.
