Sandra Lee Kennedy

April 3, 1946 - September 14, 2025

Sandra Lee Kennedy, 79, of Roanoke, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marion Viar; her husband, Tommy Kennedy Sr.; her companion, Calvin King; sister, Linda Dineen; and brother, Barry Viar; grandson, Aaron Kennedy.

Sandra was a loving and caring woman who put others first and always sought out the good in everyone.

Left to cherish Sandra's memories are her children, Lisa Holt (Tim), Tommy Kennedy (Amy), John Kennedy; sisters, Joyce Hoy, Janet Allen (Tim), Jean Kindburg (Robert); 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; cousins Judy and Diane; and beloved pet, Lucy.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Lotz Funeral Home in Vinton. There will be a graveside service at 2 PM on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at Old Dominion Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jeff Gardner officiating.
