Shirley Padgett Lester, 78, of Vinton, Va., went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
She was born on April 2, 1947, to the late Sam and Ann Padgett. She was also preceded in death by her infant grandson, Brandon Richard Kiser.
Shirley is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Rick Kiser; her granddaughter and her fiancé, Katelyn Kiser and Cody Woodward; and her granddaughter, Lauren Kiser. She is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Becky Padgett.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. with a viewing at 9 a.m. on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at EastLake Community Church Roanoke Campus with Pastor Jeff Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared with her family at www.Oakeys.com.
