Stacy I am so blown away. Someone emailed me your link yesterday at work and I can't stop thinking about you. I have not seen you in probably close to 20 years. I had heard you got married, heard you had a son. Sadly it never got back to me that you had cancer. Since reading of your passing yesterday the memories are flooding back. Our vacation to Florida when I stayed with family in Port Charlotte and you stayed with family near by. Then we both went up to Clearwater for a few days then to Daytona. And only 2 bad things the whole journey. Our first experience of red tide. The beach stunk from dead fish. haha And the rain on the way home. For 12 hours straight we drove in pouring down rain. We were so happy to finally be home. All the times we had at work and after work. The times you,me and Kim had together. You going to the races with my sister Mona both of you die hard Rusty Wallace fans. I don't know what happened Stacy. Someone ask me and I said, nothing. Nothing at all happened. We just drifted apart over time till we completely lost touch with each other. I don't know why that happens with so many friends. I guess were meant to carry through with those that we do. Please know that I am grateful to have been blessed with being a part of your short time on earth. My heart breaks at the thought of never having the opportunity for a bump into an old friend at some random place in the future. Stacy, You will always be missed even by those you may have thought had forgotten about you. You touched a lot of lives in your 41 years. God Bless your family as they suffer your loss. And may your days in heaven be blessed with all those who went before you. Till we meet again My Friend.
Love You
Karen

Dear Shiflette Family, I only met Stacy once or twice when I was dropping my son off or picking him up at the house. She was a very wonderful mother and wife and my prayers are with all of you as you are going through this very difficult time. May the grace of God be with you.

Dear Betty, Donnie, Joey and Family,
Greg and I are deeply saddened to hear the news of Stacy's passing. I was unaware of her battle; however, am sure she faught courageously... that's what this family does, right?! I remember fondly spending Christmastime together at Wanda's watching Stacy and Donnie loving that Joey to bits! From my first introduction to her, I knew THAT was the kind of mama I hoped to be.
I pray that in the difficult days, weeks and months ahead that you find comfort in God; knowing her days of struggle are over and that the place He has prepared for hers will one day be ours too and we will rejoice together! I know Stacy will be every bit as good a mom in Heaven as she has been on this earth.
Lots of hugs and prayers to everyone. We are here if you need us.
Sending all our love.

Stacy you are in a better place now where you may find comfort with others who have gone to heaven before you. You fought a long battle with great strength and courage & now it's time to rest. We had a lot of fun during the summers you came to stay with us. Although you & Laura were closer in age, I was still there. We miss you deeply. Tell all the folks in Heaven hello & will see everyone there someday.
