Thomas LINKOUS Obituary
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening, August 13, 2013, from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Fairlawn Church of God. Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Marcus Harrison and the Rev. Jim Angle officiating. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at the Linkous Family Cemetery in Pulaski County.
In lieu of flowers make a donation to the family for a private ministry of their choice.
The Linkous family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. www.mullinsfuneralhome.com.

Glenna, Tom was one of the best people I have ever known in my life. When all of us were in our teenage years he took the time to have the camp outs on Friday nights with the young people that made a lot of us grow up the way we are today. Tom was there to make sure we stayed out of trouble and I will never forget that.

Tom has been a part of our family for almost 30 years. He and Bill are in heaven turkey hunting together/forever.

When I heard Tom passed my eyes filled with tears. I could hear Tom saying I'm finally there don't cry for me I'm with my savior. Tom loved to serve his god and loved his family. I will miss all of Toms deer stories I was blesses to have have been able to hunt with Tom and the linkous family. And be treated like you we're part of the family. Tom will be missed but it also warms your heart that he is home waiting for family and freinds to join him. I think Tom might be telling his dad of the big buck that got away. Death brings so much sorrow, and we are sorry your family is experiencing this great loss. Tom was/is a hero of faith, and we are all better people for seeing his courage in fighting cancer. His family is a testimony of what love and giving can produce. Thank you Tom for the gift your life has brought! We love you, and we'll see you again!
