Tonya Dooley Obituary
Tonya Minnick Dooley, 59, of Blue Ridge, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She was born in Roanoke, Va., on March 22, 1964, a daughter of Carolyn Smith Minnick and the late Albert T. Minnick.
Tonya enjoyed spending time outdoors while hunting and going fishing. She drove a truck for many years hauling oil and gasoline. She loved the challenge of driving anything with a motor and or wheels. She also enjoyed time spent with her family and in previous years she was always known as her Daddy's girl. She was loved by her family and friends and will be missed greatly.
In addition to her mother, Tonya is survived by her husband, Richard M. Dooley; four children, Ryan Jennings Croft, and his wife, LeeAnne, Ashley Ann-Marie Sprayberry and her husband, Elvis, Lisa Lynn Coffey (Dakota Carter), and Dustin Michael Dooley and his wife, Nicole; seven grandchildren, Westley, Maci, Jase, Kimber, Remington, Brynley, and Hadley, also, one grandchild on the way; one sister, Monica Minnick, numerous nieces, nephews and so many other family and friends.
