Twyla Jo Hunt Ferguson

June 5, 1940 - September 2, 2025

Twyla Jo Hunt Ferguson, age 85 of Snow Creek, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025, peacefully at home. She was born on June 5, 1940, a daughter to the late Benjamin and Elsie Mae Hunt. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, James "Paul" Ferguson, Sr.; son, James "Jimmy" P. Ferguson, Jr. (Lisa); daughter, Jennifer F. Ludford (Chris); five grandchildren, Trey Ferguson, Taylor Guilliams (Brayden), Cole Ludford, Carson Ludford and Jase Ludford; three great-grandchildren, Caroline Ferguson, Loreli Guilliams and Lainey Fern Guilliams. Twyla was a homemaker and member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife and a good partner. She will be missed terribly.

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery, 11 a.m. Thursday, September 4, 2025, with Mr. Eric Ferguson officiating. Her family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
