I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll never forget all those days at Maca Pool hanging out with Vicki, the kids, and the lifeguards enjoying our summers. When you moved into the neighborhood we just clicked and I really enjoyed watching and spending time with Bud & Sarah. Some days I think Sarah thought she even lived at our house. The easiest job I ever had was watching you two and it was by far the job where I had the most fun and interesting conversations. It was hard to see you move away after getting to know you all so well but I appreciate the time we had together. You're all in my prayers and I still think about and tell stories about you to this day.

Oh Mom, I don't even know where to begin. It's still so surreal that you're gone. I am so thankful for all of the wonderful memories I have of you, and all the great times we shared together. You inspired me, encouraged me, laughed with me, cried with me, and showed me true unconditional love. I would not be the woman I am today, without you.
Words can't express how much I'm going to miss you. I've wanted to pick up the phone many times already to see if you wanted to do things, or just to say hello. I'll sure miss our daily chats... I could write all day about all of the things I'm going to miss about you.
You were an incredible woman... strong and brave, and you were a fighter. You were an amazing cook, a hard worker, a loving wife, mother and friend. You never met a stranger... you made everyone feel loved.
You will forever be in my heart, thoughts and dreams.
I love you, Mom.

Of all the people I have met in my life, the Hartges are some of the strongest, smartest and kindest people I have ever met. I cant think of a single time that Vicki didn't make me feel like i was not part of the family when i stopped by. I pray that God graces you with the strength, courage and faith to get through these tough times. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Vicki, you were such a good mother to Buddy and Sarah and a great person to talk with. I'll always remember hanging out at your house with you and Buddy and dorking it up with web design talk. I'm so sorry that you're gone now, but know that you will always be in our hearts and minds.

Dear Ma Dukes-
I am so grateful for you. You made me feel like family from day one. I am going to miss watching Sarah get mad when we use to make fun of her. I know that you know I will carry that tradition on for as long as I can =). I can go on and on about the things I'll miss, but ultimately I am so grateful to have spent the time I got to spend w/ you. I take solace that you are not hurting anymore and eventhough we are now missing you, we will all carry on the lessons of love you taught us all. You are w/ us always, Ma Dukes. Love you.
