To The family of Sister Mary Hackley
It was with great sorrow, this day that we learned of the passing of Pastor Barlow, in our society, death is assumed to be part of the natural order of things, but tell that to most grieving family member who have just lost a love one or friend.
But in this grief if you would just hold on to the promises of God this is where you will surely find your greatest comfort.
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith, henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day, and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2nd Timothy 4:6-8
The peace of God and the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
In Love and Sympathy,
Eternal Life Church

AUNTIE (AS I WOULD ALWAYS CALL YOU): I WILL MISS YOU DEARLY! YOU HAVE BEEN A WONDERFUL INFLUENCE IN MY LIFE AND MY CHRISTIAN WALK. YOU HAVE GIVEN ME HOPE AND INSPIRATION TO CONTINUE GODS WORK. THANK YOU FOR SEEING MY CALLING AND ALLOWING ME TO STEP OUT ON FAITH AND SPEAK TO THE YOUTH OF GOD'S PROPERTY CHURCH. I WAS BY YOUR SIDE IN GOD'S PROPERTY AND I WAS BY YOUR SIDE IN THE HOSPITAL. YOU SMILED AT ME AND GAVE ME A LOOK THAT MADE ME FEEL LIKE YOU WOULD BE O.K., EVERYTHING WOULD BE O.K. I WHISPERED IN YOUR EAR THAT YOU ARE GOD'S CHILD AND YOU ARE GOING TO BE WITH HIM NOW. I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART. REST IN PEACE, TANYA (NIECY)

We will miss your spirit of love and compassion, your deep dedication to God and the church. Truly you were a servant of the Lord. The Spirit of the Lord is upon us. He has anointed us to preach the gospel to the poor, to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.- The Glorious Churches of God in Christ- The Virginia State District.

My dearest MeMe and dearest other family members, my heart goes out to you all in the loss of your love one and mine. It is so hard for me to send this to you all at this time but as God is giving me the strength to do this he will give you all the strength to get through this as well. She was not just Pastor Barlow to my family, or just a mother or sister to others, but she was my "auntie" and our best friend. My mind goes back to when my sister Pokey and uncle Joe died, she was right here for us. I remember her saying that "You all know I am a part of your family and will always be here for you all". I know that she and my mom Evangelist Rosa, Pokey, and Joe are rejoicing right now. I know that Pokey is saying, "You really song that song for me at my funeral. Your heart may be heavy right now but be glad that you know she is with the Lord, and is surrounded by people there who really loves her. Oh I know that church is going on up there, especially with Rosa andPokey with her. I love all of you and will continue to keep everyone in my prayers, if you need anything please call me or the family.
Love, your cuz, Angelia Ferrell-Sanders and Family.

To my precious family:
"Weeping may endureth for a night, but joy cometh in the morning". Our morning may not be in 24 hours, but joy will return as The Lord has promised. Jenny was special to all of us and we loved her, but God loved her more. We were blessed to have her in our lives. Her heart's desire was to see souls saved, especially her family. Let's honor her memory by having someone in our family give his or her life to The Lord. Just know that she is with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. This is a time to REJOICE!!
Love you sis,
Ellen

Earth's loss is Heaven's gain. To the family of Pastor Virginia Louise Drew Barlow, it is with heavy hearts that Pastor Rena and I send our condolences. We will never forget our Sister. Pastor was always positive and even more determine to do the Work of the Lord. She exemplified her "Service" with grace and dignity. God's providence has been done. Eventhough we all prayed for her healing; God did one better. He delivered Her into His Glorious presence, that's something to shout about. Scriptures declare this hope for the "Saints of God". To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. May you find comfort in Him during your time of sorrow.
