November 13, 1952 - May 4, 2022
William D. Boothe, 69, of Blue Ridge, Va., went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 4, 2022.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Kathy Diane Boothe; his father, Robert Lee Boothe; his mother, Lillian Scott Boothe; granddaughter, Brooke Allyson Tyler; brother, Jerry Wolfe; sister, Elma Roberts; and brothers-in-law, Robert Roberts, Buddy Montgomery, and Warren Ryan.
Surviving are his children, Christy Tyler and husband, Kevin, and Brittany Powell and husband, Sam; grandchildren, Dylan and Brady Tyler; grand pups, Vader and Moana; sister-in-law, Betty Wolfe; sisters, Shirley Montgomery, Mary Ryan, Alice Boothe, and Linda Triplett (Tom); and brothers, Bobby Boothe, and Lonnie Boothe (Joyce).
David enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Some of his hobbies included wood working, car shows, shooting pool at the Wolfe's Den, and helping others.
David worked at Pepsi Cola for 47 years. He was a dedicated and hard worker. He had many different jobs within Pepsi but enjoyed working on the forklift.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 12 noon on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at Oakey's East Chapel with Pastor T.G. Ayers officiating. Interment will follow at Glade Creek Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends on Monday, May 9, 2022, from 2 until 4 p.m. and from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
