William Draper Obituary

William B Draper, 93, passed away quietly on Sept 13th, 2024.
He was born in Roanoke, VA on May 24, 1931, son of the late John Wesley and Lois Wright Draper. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane Dove, and his three sons: Larry, Lynn and Michael. He is also survived by his grandchildren Hunter Bryan-Newman Draper and Andrew William Draper, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers: Glenn, Douglas and Gene and his wife of 30 years, Bettie Jane Pasley.
He was employed in the Fashion Industry for many years until he opened his own business in 1983 and fully retired in 1992. He also retired from the Air Force and had a passion for flying. He loved to travel and watch football.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses at Woodland Hills who took such good care of him during his last couple of years. .
A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

I have often thought of your father throughout the years. He was always such a dear to me. I loved how his mannerisms, at times, reminded me of Fred MacMurray especially when turning his head to one side. His love of Key West and how he discovered a taste for Red Stripe after Jamaica. He had such a giving heart and loved his family. Those are the memories I have of `Dad´. My heart and prayers go out to you three boys, your families, and sweet Janie.
