Hi Mrs. Martin and Children, I miss him so much but I learned alot from Mr. Martin. He was not only my patient, he was my friend and I love them both.

I'm a college friend of Betty Lou's and just discovered your loss. Had Christmas holiday dinner with your family in 1966 while on leave from USAF pilot training and was very impressed with your husband. Sorry I didn't know more details about his impressive Air Force background. I would have enjoyed discussing it with him in more detail. My sympathies to your family and please pass on my warmest regards to Betty Lou.

Dear Lou, Bill, Suzanne and siblings,
I loved Willy so very much - he was always the kindest to me and Erin (and my mother) when he would come to Mt. Sterling. "Woman! Better days are coming!" he would always say before we hugged. And I have all the albums he created and sent to us - he was so generous. Please know you have my deepest sympathy. I think he would say his greatest legacy was his family. Love to you all, Jan

My grandfather was an outstanding role model. We love him dearly. We will miss him, but his presence will continue to be felt by future generations as we strive to live life the way he did.

Betty Jo and all the children. I'am so sorry to hear about your loss. Mr Martin is the 'GREATEST'. He helped me in so many ways, handshakes, college, encouragement and many other things. I remember we use to just sit and talk! I remember Mr. Martin telling me many times how proud he was of me and my accomplishments. That made me feel so good comming from such a great man. You see Im a former Green Beret and received the Distinguished Service Cross and the Silver Star for Valor in Viet Nam. He kept the Newspaper writeups and presented them to me when I returned home. Mr. Martin thank you SIR for being my friend and providing guidance. I'll see you again someday!!

My dear Betty Jo,
So many great memories! Always turned outwards to us others. Photos better than the hired professionals. Bobbie's fear he would hurt my hand, and shock I could squeeze back so well. So many silent accomplishments. So tolerent of differences in others. My life is sooo much better because of you and Willie. May your entire clan feel God's presence as you process this new life, without Willie's physical presence. Love, Clyde
