She was ordained as minister and was a devoted member of Sandy Grove Baptist Church in Lumberton. She was joined in holy matrimony to Mr. Charles Andrew McClellan on Dec. 22, 1991, and to this union two beautiful girls, Charnelle and Endia, were born. Freda will be sorely missed by all who was graced by her presence.

Alfred's was a kind and sincere friend. She always looked at situations in a positive way. She was a fun person and she treated people the way she wanted to be treated. I felt special when she gave the faculty and staff a dinner at Rowland Norment and invited the Subs.
