BEVERLY ANN MONTANO LOCKLEAR
PEMBROKE — Beverly Ann Montano Locklear of Pembroke was born Robeson County on Wednesday, May 7, 1956, and was born into eternity Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, completing his journey of 65 years.
Mrs. Locklear was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. The love of her life was her Lord and her family. She was satisfied to looking to the way of her family. Her husband and children have truly called her blessed. She was active in the church choir and the youth club at Whitehill Freewill Baptist Church, in her younger days. In the sunset of her life, she was an active attendant of Mt. Airy Baptist Church. She also had a fondness for classic rock.
She is survived by her husband, Marvin Locklear of the home; two daughters, Antoinette Locklear Bullard and husband, Jimmy, of Pembroke, and Camille Locklear Goins and husband, Kevin, of Pembroke; a son, Mario Locklear of Haymarket, Virginia; a sister, Theresa Montano of Humble, Texas; two sisters, Allen Benson of Raleigh, and Benny Montano of Lumberton; an uncle, Howard Canady and wife, Nellie, of Pembroke; eight grandchildren, Britany, Jacob, Emily, Caleb, Emma, Kennadie, Jackson, and Gracie; a great-grandchild, Elaina Ava; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, Nov.29, 2021, at Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Pembroke. Burial will follow in the Locklear Family Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2021 at Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Pembroke.
