Daisy Locklear
PEMBROKE — Mrs. Daisy Locklear, 86, of Shawn F. Road, Pembroke, N.C., was born to the late Lester and Effie W. Locklear on June 29, 1930, in Robeson County. She went to her Heavenly home on Aug. 2, 2016.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today at Burnt Swamp Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
As a beloved mother, dedicated wife and devout Christian, she cherished life, family and her joy of sharing Christ with others. She will be forever remembered for her gentle, caring personality, a sweet smile upon her face, and constant words of assurance and encouragement to all those she met. She will leave behind a legacy that shall remain in hearts throughout eternity.
She was preceded in death by husband, Hulen M. Locklear Sr.; a son, Hulen M. Locklear, Jr.; two grandsons, Nicholas Strickland and Troy M. Locklear; and several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.
The family received friends on Aug. 6, 2016, at Revels Funeral Home Pembroke.
