ELLA HUGGINS
LUMBERTON — Mrs. Ella Huggins, 94, of 8560 N.C. 211 East, Lumberton, died March 9, 2018, at Spartanburg Regional Health Center in Spartanburg, S.C.
Mrs. Ella is preceded in death by her husband, Delton Huggins; her parents, Thornton Oxendine and Arie Oxendine; a son, Johnny Huggins; five brothers, Welch Oxendine, Paul Oxendine, James Oxendine, Harvey D. Oxendine and Jessie Oxendine; and three sisters, Eva Lee Oxendine, Sally Sampson and Clara M. Locklear.
Mrs. Ella leaves to cherish her memories a son, Terry Lynn Huggins of Lumberton, N.C.; a daughter, Evelyn Davis and husband, Sonny, of South Carolina; a brother, Clyde Oxendine (Carol) of Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Betty Sims of Fayetteville, N.C.;, grandchild; two great-grandchildren; a special friend of the family, Patricia Emanuel; and a host of relatives and friends.
The funeral services will be held at2 p.m. Thursday at Smyrna Baptist Church with Rev. Carl A. Pevia, Rev. Rodney Hunt and Rev. Roosevelt Scott officiating. Burial will follow in Lumbee Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. before the service on Thursday at Smyrna Baptist Church, 8003 N.C. 211 East, Lumberton, N.C.
Arrangements are by Revels Funeral Home Lumberton.
