Jackson Montrow Lovett

Jackson Montrow Lovett, age 77, of Lumberton, died on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2025. He was born in Robeson County on Dec. 10, 1947, to the late William Judson Lovett and Jennie Enzor Lovett.

Jackson was retired from the Robeson County school system and was a longtime member of Long Branch Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, William Clyde Lovett, Sr. and Nathan Franklin Lovett.

Lovett is survived by his son, Gary A. Schwarzman; grandson, "Li'l" Gary; granddaughter, Alyna; and his nephew, William Clyde Lovett, Jr., and nieces, Jennifer Danford and Connie Lawson, and their families.

A time of visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2025, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Floyd Mortuary and Crematory, Inc., 809 East Fifth St., Lumberton. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 16, 2025, at 3 p.m., at Long Branch Baptist Church, 8878 N.C. Highway 72 East, Lumberton with Rev. Robert Peltz officiating. Burial will follow the service at New Hollywood Cemetery, 401 Hollywood Drive, Lumberton.
