Janice Williams

LUMBERTON — Ms. Janice Brice Williams, 72, passed away Sept. 11, 2014, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center of Lumberton.

The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Clybonville Baptist Church of Lumberton, the Rev. Stephen Klegg officiating. Burial will follow in Gardens of Faith Cemetery.

She was born in Sampson County on Oct. 4, 1941.

She is survived by her son, Evan Williams, of Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Sharon Rebecca Williams and Pamela Benton and husband, Scott, all of Lumberton; a brother, Jimmy Brice, of Elizabethtown; a sister, Mary Drew McPhail of Tarboro; four grandchildren, Adrian Packer, Tyler Williams, Madelyn and Halli Benton; two great-grandchildren, Hannah and Chloe Collins; and her beloved pet, Mr. Twinkles.

The visitation will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Floyd Mortuary & Crematory Inc.

If you wish, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Gibson Cancer Center, 1200 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, N.C., 28358.
