So sad to learn of Michelle. So taught my youngest son at Piney Grove (1st grade) and he just loved her. Her Dad Layton and I grew up together, went to Green Grove School and attended Reedy Branch Church. My mom Mrs. Fannie Belle taught Most of the Rogers in school. Michael and I worked together at Lumberton Corrections for a long time together. Seems like family. May God bless you all and give you peace and comfort in your hearts and lives. We have the blessed assurance we shall meet again. Rev Carson (Corkey) @ Mildred Locklear

I am terribly sorry to hear of Michelle's passing. We were co workers at Magnolia Elementary School. I had the honor of teaching Devon in 8th grade and she taught my daughter in 6th grade. Prayers for her family.

Michelle was one of my first graders. She was so sweet and eager to learn. Years later she returned to Piney Grove as a new Kindergarten teacher. It was an honor to know her.
