PATRICIA A. BESPOLKA
LUMBERTON — Bespolka, Patricia A. of Lumberton, North Carolina, unexpectedly passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in her home. She was born in Cambridge, MA, and was preceded in death by her parents, Elliott G. Bespolka, Sr. and Olga Netishen Bespolka, and by her younger sister, Carol Ann Bespolka. Patricia is survived by her brother Elliott G. Bespolka, Jr. and his wife Linda of MD, their son Andrew and his wife Dana, and their child Corinne. She is also survived by her sister, Diane B. Ahlberg and her husband W. Eric Ahlberg, III of Washington, NC. Patricia leaves a nephew, W. Eric Ahlberg, IV of Chesterfield, VA and a niece, Cortney A. Napior and her husband Michael, and their daughters Emerson and Sophie, all of Chesterfield, VA. She also leaves many cousins and a community of friends. Patricia was a graduate of UNC-P in 1973 and taught for over 35 years. She was an active member of The First Presbyterian Church of Lumberton, a Belk employee, and member of the Junior League. A funeral service will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, Aug. 1, at noon. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family from 9 AM through noon. Patricia will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford, Massachusetts.

I went to high school with Pat,when she started working for Belk in Lumberton is when I had conversations with her Pat was a great salesperson and I know she made customers feel like a friend with her kindness, always polite and that beautiful smile made "my day" .Prayer's for family.

I met Pat back in 1985 when Biggs Park Mall opened. We worked at Belk together , I left in 1999 and she was still there working to help the customers with their household needs. She was a great person to talk to and to work with. May God keep the family in His Care. Sending Condolences and Love to the family.

Ms. Bespolka was my 6th grade teacher at Littlefield. I am truly sadden by her passing. She was a wonderful teacher and has made a life long impact on my life. I have so many memories from that year.

So very sad to read this news about Pat. I was also a school teacher and Pat and wander Elkins were such wonderful friends and I had worked with wandra and that's how I got to know Pat.
