LUMBERTON — Mr. Roderick F. Thomas, 52, a native of Aiken, South Carolina, transitioned on Friday, March 12, 2021.

We wish we had the magic word or words to change the circumstances yet, if we did we would be operating as the almighty!
However, we do have a word that happens to be a Name. A Name that surpasses all names. A Name that through these troubled times can ease the greatest of ALL pains. A Name you can call on even in your darkest of hours. A Name that when you think of the goodness of your loved one shout it out! A Name that is the epitome of Love...
We can send flowers, words of sorrow,sadness, and condolences but we perfer to send a Powerful working name JESUS to assure the family that everything is now okay!
No more loneliness, heartaches, and pain for Rodrick. JESUS erased that just a few days ago. Heaven just got brighter when Rod ascended in and illuminated his electric smile!
Family we urge you to do what Rod did so well and that is Smile. Then say JESUS!

I still
Remember the day I met Rod interviewing at Pepperidge Farm. I remember telling him he had an internal light that was clearly Jesus. Rod was a hard worker and always had a smile on his face. My sincerest condolences to his family.

To the family of the late "Rod" Thomas, my family, words cannot express or explain the hurt and pain we feel right now in the loss of our dear love one. But we know a God that knows all about it.
