Dorothea "Lola" Rosalia Vincent, 94, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at St. Mary's Healthcare.
Lola was born May 6, 1929, in Nuremberg, Germany, to the late Adam and Henrietta (Reber) Werr.
Her first marriage was to Ralph Mull, and he preceded her. On May 16, 1986 she married Dr. Dayton Vincent in West Lafayette, and he preceded in September 2017.
Lola was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling and visited Australia, South Africa and Europe all through Purdue University. Lola also enjoyed dancing, specifically Waltzes, Polkas and German dances.
Surviving are her children: Ralph (Laird Brownlee) Mull, Brent (Jean) Mull and Jennifer (David) Criswell all of Lafayette; sister Anna Berger of Germany; seven grandchildren, Elizabeth (David) Kirk, Karen Miller, Andrew (Laura) Miller, Aaron (Barbara) Basham, Amber Basham, Bradley (Alex) Mull, and Amy Mull; five great-grandchildren; and her sweet kitty Moses.
Along with her husband, Dayton, she is preceded in passing by her parents, daughters Peggy Miller and Barbara Basham, grandchild Brian Mull and former sons-in-law Kenny Basham and Thomas Miller.
Dorothea's family sends a special thank you to the nurses and staff at St. Mary's Healthcare and Guardian Angel Hospice for their care and devotion.
Visitation is Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at Hippensteel Funeral Home, 822 N. Ninth St., Lafayette.
