Kevin L. Hinderlider, 62, of Rochester, passed away peacefully at 1:30 a.m. Monday, July 10, 2023, at home surrounded by family.
Born Sept. 16, 1960, in Rochester, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Betty Lou (Peters) Hinderlider.
He was a 1978 Kewanna High School graduate.
On June 30, 1984, he married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Bennett.
Kevin retired from IMI in Plymouth. He also was formerly employed at Cowles Sand and Gravel in Kewanna.
He was a member of the Kewanna V.F.W. Post 1121 Auxiliary and enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, riding his motorcycle and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Hinderlider of Rochester; sons Brock Hinderlider (Leah) of Kewanna, Nick Hinderlider (Amber) of Rochester and Cole Hinderlider of Winamac; sister Cynthia Bowyer (Daniel) of Kewanna; grandchildren Macee Hinderlider of Kewanna, Kent Hinderlider of Kewanna, Ayden Burns (Chloe) of Kewanna, Addison Crippen of Rochester, Violet Hinderlider of Rochester and Lane Hinderlider of Rochester; and great-granddaughter, Aspen Burns.
He was also preceded in death by brother, Steven Hinderlider.
Service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 14, 2023, at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel, 123 E. Main St., Kewanna.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial contributions can be made to Gentiva Hospice.
