Vickie L. Rottmiller, 68, Rochester, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2022, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center of Plymouth.
Vickie was born the daughter of Dale and Marceline (Young) Workman April 18, 1953 in Kosciusko County. She graduated from Triton High School in 1971 and went on to get her nursing degree from Ivy Tech. She enjoyed her career as an L.P.N., working in long-term care at nursing homes. She married Galen Rottmiller on Dec. 18, 1976.
In her spare time, she like to crochet, watch and feed the birds, take cruises, go camping and spend time with her children and grandchildren, especially with the loves of her life, her dogs: Cooper, Harper and Bear.
Vickie is survived by her husband, Galen; her daughters,Tracy (Mark) Wright of Walkerton, Sheri Rottmiller of McRea, Ark.; her son, Michael (Heather) Rottmiller of Plymouth; her grandchildren Ashley Rottmiller, Marceline Singleton (Cheyenne), Victoria Rottmiller, Emily Rottmiller; her great-grandchildren Jeremiah Wright and Daniel Wright; her sister, Cheryl (Joe) Lace of Rincon, Ga.; her brothers Doug (Mary) Workman of Bourbon, and Luke (Edie) Workman of Bremen.
Vickie is preceded in death by her parents.
Family and friends will gather Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in Deaton-Clemens Funeral Home, 115 S. Main St., Bourbon. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Kristin Harp officiating. Burial will take place at Stony Point Cemetery, 7498 W. 650 North, Etna Green.
