Danny Tipton Obituary
Danny Tipton, age 39 of Conyers, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 29, 2009. A Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2009 at 11 AM in the Chapel of Tim Stewart Funeral Home, Snellville, with Rev. Phil Wages officiating. Burial will follow in Melwood Cemetery. A member of the First Baptist Church of Conyers, Mr. Tipton was formally a 911 Operator with the City of Snellville, Conyers and Lawrenceville Police Departments. He also coached his children's soccer teams with the YMCA in Newton County. Mr. Tipton is survived by his Children: Robbie and Ambry Tipton, both of Covington; Mother and Step-father: Mary and Ray Collins, Conyers; Brothers and Sister-in-law: Jason and Susan Collins, Warner Robins; Craig Collins, Conyers; Sisters and Brothers-in-law: Sherry and Dan Webb, Conyers; Lisa and Terry Drew, Forsyth; Aunt and Uncle: J.W. and Helen Archer, Loganville; Several Nieces and Nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 - 8 PM on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Tim Stewart Funeral Home, 2246 Wisteria Drive, Snellville, GA 30078. 770-979-5010. Daddy, I love you, please dont forget it. Thank you for always being there for me. We had a great time together and I never wanted it to end. The first time we met Danny was on the Soccer field playing for the YMCA in Covington. No matter how he felt he always showed dedication to the kids. My thoughts and prayers are with you Robbie and Ambry at this most difficult time.
