Gloria Laulusa Obituary
With profound sadness, the family of Gloria Laulusa announces her passing on Thursday, September 4, 2025, Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Gloria was born on August 13, 1958, in Fairfield, California, and made her home in Powder Springs, Georgia.
Gloria leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and unwavering faith. She is survived by her devoted son, Charles B. Bartley (Aisha); her loving mother, Frances Tate; her brothers, Vernon Harris (Beverly) and Charles Tate (Michelle); her cherished grandchildren, Mersailles A. Bartley and Karianna C. Bartley; and her Aunt, Patricia Anne Twiggs. She also leaves behind a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones whose lives she touched deeply.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Leeman Austin Bartley Jr.; her father, Joseph Harris; her brothers, Gary Harris and LaFaniel Harris; her stepmother, Inell Harris; and her stepfather, Charles Tate.
Gloria lived a life of dedication and service. She retired after 20+ years with KBP YUM Brands, where she worked as a regional manager in the Atlanta area. She was a woman of unmatched work ethic and commitment, always ensuring that her family was cared for and supported. Her strength and resilience were matched only by her generosity and compassion.
A woman of steadfast faith, Gloria was a proud member of the Christian Methodist faith, living by her belief that "God Will Provide." Her love for God guided her life and inspired those around her. She truly embodied the spirit of kindness and touched the lives of everyone she encountered.
Gloria will be remembered as a beautiful, loving, and hardworking mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her radiant smile, selfless heart, and unwavering devotion to her family and faith will remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Her legacy of love and faith will live on through her family and all those blessed to have shared in her life.
