David Hulvey Obituary

David Alan Hulvey, 80, of Rockingham, passed away October 8, 2025 at UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville. He was born June 18, 1945 in Harrisonburg and was a son to the late Marshall R. and Audrey A. Bowers Hulvey. Alan retired as a production control manager from Reynolds Metals Company in Grottoes. He was a member of Bridgewater United Methodist Church. He was a U.S. Army veteran. On July 31, 1966 he married the former Judy Runion, who survives. Also surviving is a daughter; Angela Moats and husband Sam, of Bridgewater, a son; Brian Hulvey, of Ashburn, three grandchildren; Logan Grace Hulvey, Ethan David Hulvey, Samuel Alan Moats, and a sister; Marlene Landes, of Rockingham. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM at Bridgewater United Methodist Church. Burial will be private at Cedar Run Cemetery near Broadway. Friends may pay their respects and sign a guestbook on Tuesday from 9 AM- 7 PM at the Grandle Funeral Home in Broadway. The casket will be closed.
