Peggy Shull Obituary

Peggy Ann Grim Shull, 88, of Mount Crawford, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Blue Ridge Nursing & Rehab. She was born on December 30, 1936 and was a daughter of the late Earl Henry and Virginia Belle (Smiley) Grim. Peggy was a country girl, a good mother and loved gardening and cooking. Peggy was united in marriage on September 25, 1954 to Hinkle Vernon Shull, who preceded her in death on August 23, 1984. Peggy is survived by her children, Vernon Grim, Danny Shull and wife Krenda, Sharon Chandler, Patricia Shull, and Jeffery Shull and wife Melody; three grandchildren, Amy Shull, Heather Shull, and Dakota Shull; six great grandchildren, Autumn Shifflett, Breanna Shifflett, Jeremiah Shifflett, Aaliyah Shull, and Skylar Shull and Nile Chandler and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Storm Chandler; a great grandchild Atum-Ra Ankhnaton; and her siblings Margaret Propst, Blanche Losh, Donald Grim, Betty Huddle, and Charles Grim. A graveside service celebrating Peggy's life will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sangerville Church of the Brethren Cemetery with Pastor Larry Aiken officiating.
