Angela Anderson Obituary
ROCKY MOUNT - Angela Denise Anderson, 61, of Martin County, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 11, 2025. Born on October 21, 1963, she was the beloved daughter of the late Harold Talmadge Anderson and Letha Mae Gurley.
Angela was a fighter in life-resilient, strong, and full of grace. Her unwavering positivity and deep compassion left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She always saw the good in others and carried a spirit of kindness that uplifted those around her.
A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and girlfriend, Angela cherished her family above all. She found joy in fishing, savoring seafood, and sharing laughter with loved ones. Her faith was the essence of her life-Angela loved the Lord and had a heart for people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers Harold Anderson II and Phillip Anderson.
Angela is survived by her son Brent Cooper (Hannah), daughter Amanda Cooper, her cherished grandchildren: Aria Graham, Christian Graham, Harper Grace Cooper, and a soon-to-arrive grandson, her loving boyfriend Holt Searcy, brothers Kevin Anderson, and Stan Anderson (Roschelle).
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Ridgecrest Worship Center, with visitation beginning at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Liver Foundation, honoring Angela's strength and spirit.
Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who loved her.
