Pearl Morris Obituary
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 52 years, James D. Morris, two sons; James Dean Morris and wife Vickie, Lance Jackson Morris and wife Lisa, one daughter, Staci Maureen Morris, Brothers and Sisters, Ruth Hammond, Luther Farmer, Marjorie Calhon, Jake Farmer, Ginger Burgess, Albert Farmer, Jeanette Rowland, Frances Greene, Patricia Lancaster and Brenda Banks, five grandchildren, Jamie Morris, Jackson Morris, Tyson Vierheller, Grayson Morris and Brenson Morris.
Visitation will be Thursday May 3, 2012 from 5:30-7:30PM at Fellowship Church of Nashville and other times at the home. Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 7:30PM with Elder Larry Tuggle, Pastor Michael Johnson and Bishop Kenneth Johnson officiating. Burial will take place Friday May 4, 2012 at 2:00PM at Rocky Mount Memorial Park.

Jimmy,Lance,Staci,Iam truly sorry for your loss.I am sure that Pearl and mama (Jane) are up in heaven laughing and having a good old time.No more sickness for either one of them.I know that Jane was standing there with her arms open wide for her good friend Pearl.Peace be with all of you.

Im gonna miss Aunt Pearl so much and her visits with Granny here in VA. She was such a sweet, caring, and funny lady. They where like two peas in a pod and I loved seeing them together. Love you Aunt Pearl...see you soon.

Pearl was/is special to me and I learned a lot from her. I am thankful for the last time we spent together that included a wonderful meal at Smiths (we both could not get over how much we got and how good it was) followed by stops at the thrift stores. We always had fun talking and being together. She taught me how to bargain hunt and what to look for at thrift stores, tools that I continue to use to this day. My thoughts and prayers are with Jimmy, Dean, Lance, Staci and family. When I spoke to her last she told me she was at peace and was not afraid. I will cherish the times I had with her forever.

We sure are gonna miss aunt Pearl. She was a one of a kind lady. She was always coming up with funny saying and passing out her "Pearly Bags". Sure gonna miss seeing her do the Farmer Flap and eating her fried corn... it was the best.Love yall
