R. Bryant Obituary
DURHAM - R. Kelly Bryant Jr., 98 departed this earthly life on December 6, 2015 at Duke Medical Center in Durham, North Carolina.
He was predeceased by his wife, Artelia T. Bryant.
He is survived by her daughter, Sandra Bryant Yubwannie (Yaagob); one son, R. Kelly Bryant III; two grandsons, Keith Bryant and Korey Bryant; three granddaughters, Mykel Bryant Moore, Yohanna Yubwannie and Raevin Bryant; sister, Maggie Bryant; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. at White Rock Baptist Church, located at 3400 Fayetteville Street in Durham, NC. The family visitation will be held Today from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. also at White Rock Baptist Church.
There will be public viewing Today from 10:00 to 5:00 p.m.at Fisher Funeral Parlor, located at 3137 Fayetteville Street in Durham, NC.

God Bless Mr. R.K. Bryant, Jr. He was my first boss when I graduated from Durham Business College in 1975. I was a stenographer at NCM. He was kind, professional and helpful. Also he got me registered to vote! My condolences to his family.

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to the Family in the loss of R. Kelley Bryant, Jr. I had the pleasure of having Mr. Bryant as my Boss in my first working experience at North Carolina Mutual from 1980-1984. I thank God for him choosing me to work in the place of one employee out on Sick Leave. I will always remember his humble spirit and enormous patience and knowledge. I thank God for letting me have the opportunity to know and work with him. May God grant you peace that comes through his Son, Jesus Christ during this trying time.
