Ted Wade Turner

Ted Wade Turner Ted Wade Turner, 45, of Rocky Mount passed away Sunday, September 20, 2009.  He was born January 10, 1964 in Nash County.  Ted is survived by his daughter, Amanda Elizabeth Turner of Greenville;  his son, Austin Drake Turner; his mother, Maude Drake Turner; two sisters, Amy Turner Dew (Emmett) and Pat Turner Tolston (Richard); one brother, Bob D. Turner; brother in law, C.M. Williford, all of Rocky Mount, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Thurmond Dariell Turner; his sister, Jill Turner Williford; and his beloved dog Roscoe.  Ted owned and operated Turner Custom Sawmill for many years. The family will receive friends 7 - 8:30 pm Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Wheeler and Woodlief Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 24, 2009 in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow at  Pineview Cemetery.  Chaplin Joe Andrews will officiate.
