Terry Griffin Obituary
Terry was best known for being a genuinely good-hearted friend to all. He retired after many years from Griffin's Food Store where he would always greet everyone with smile. Terry took great enjoyment in learning and sharing stories about historic places and events, having traveled to many places with his wife, Diane, throughout the years to experience for himself. A family man through and through, he cherished his children and grandchildren. Terry was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all and will be dearly missed.
Terry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife Diane Reid Griffin; and his children Casey French and her husband, Marine Corps Captain Richard French, Leigh Ann Marks and her husband Brad, Charles Lee Griffin, Amanda Waters, and Kevin Houser and his wife Jennifer. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Megan, Anna and Alex French, Bradley and Abigail Marks, Brandon Hooker, Alan Newman, and Holly Houser; brother James "Jim" Griffin and his wife Brenda; and his fur baby "Maggie".
A Celebration of Terry's Life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Terry's name to UNC REX Cancer Care Center, 4420 Lake Boone Trail, Raleigh, NC 27607.
