Thomas Moore Obituary
ROCKY MOUNT - Thomas Edison "Tom" Moore, age 85, passed away peacefully at NASH UNC HealthCare Thursday morning, November 1, 2018.
Tom was preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Evans Moore; parents, William and Elizabeth Flye Moore; son, Steve Moore; and brothers, William and Raby Moore. He is survived by his devoted wife, Sandra Moore; son, Allen Moore of Roanoke Rapids; daughter, Carolyn Register of Havelock; step-children, Matthew Winstead (Heather) of Rocky Mount, David Winstead (Keesha) of Kure Beach, and Valerie Daniels (Allen) of Sandy Cross; sisters, Anne Bradley (John) of Tarboro and Faye Collins of Seaford, DE; along with several nieces, nephews and many family friends. He was a beloved PaPa to seven grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Please join family and friends for a special time to remember Tom's life.
Visitation with family and friends will take place Monday, November 5, 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 9853 East NC 97, Rocky Mount, and other times at the home. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m., Greenwood Cemetery, Tarboro. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to Union Missionary Baptist Church.

I'm very sorry but I just saw this. Please accept my condolences in the passing of Mr Moore. He and my daddy were friends growing up. Sam Lewis. Daddy grew up in Leggett. Later years our family and his lived in Rocky Mount on streets side by side. Sorry so long winded. Very seldom look at the obituaries. Prayers sent.
