Maxine Latta Obituary
Maxine was born in Jamestown, AL, on February 17, 1941, daughter of the late Robert Lee Gardner and the late Vera Henderson Gardner. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Gardner, and her sisters, Christine Smith and Mozell Olson.
Maxine graduated from Chattooga County High School and worked for the Georgia Department of Revenue as a Tax Agent for 19 years. She was a member of Pleasant Valley North Baptist Church and was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. She will be missed by all.
Survivors include her husband, Clyde Latta; son, Lawayne Latta (Leticia); and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 2:00pm in the Chapel at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, with Pastor Clyde Hampton & Pastor Mac McCurry officiating. Interment will follow in Oaknoll Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, North Chapel, on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 12:00pm until 1:45pm.
