In addition to her parents, Millie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. (R.D.) Freeman, her daughter, Cynthia Freeman McBurnett, her sisters, Grace Sparks, Jerrie Swanson, Brenda Horsley and her brother, Johnny West.

Survivors include her son, M. Bryan Freeman (Herbert Buffington) of Atlanta and Rome, granddaughters, Aimee L. McBurnett and Olivia D. McBurnett, both of Atlanta, a brother, Jimmy, as well as by many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. A special thank you for her caregivers, Cynthia Perrymon and Hellen Wandeto.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. at the Church prior to the start of the funeral at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2024. Funeral services will be held at Snow Springs Baptist Church, 61 Snow Springs Church Road, Adairsville, GA 30103.

Burial will be in the Church cemetery. Visitation, and a reception, will follow the burial in the church's fellowship hall.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Snow Springs Baptist Church, designated for the Cemetery Fund, 61 Snow Springs Church Road, Adairsville, GA 30103.
