Wendell Lifsey Obituary
Wendell was born in Griffin, Georgia, on September 20, 1945, son of the late Willie Tee Lifsey and the late Myrt Moore Lifsey. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, and their wives, Ronald and Arlene Lifsey of Lancaster SC, Wayne and Gloria Lifsey of Loganville, GA and a third brother Jerry Lifsey of Chatsworth, GA.
Wendell graduated from the University of Georgia in 1968 with a Pharmacy degree. Wendell worked at various hospitals and pharmacies until 1990 when he opened Pharmatrend Infusions. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs football fan and a member of the Lions Club. He loved spending time on Lake Allatoona with his family. Wendell was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend; he will be missed by all of his family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Patricia Collum Lifsey; daughters, Shelby (Cliff) Howell and Alicia Evans; grandchildren, Ashley Chapman, Alexis Evans, Caroline Howell and Olivia Howell; sister-in-law, Velrece Lifsey; nephews; Patrick Lifsey and Andrew Lifsey; other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give special thanks to Cave Spring Manor and Transitions Hospice for their help and support during this difficult time. A special thanks to his hospice nurses Jennifer, Jenna, and Jayda.
In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Lifsey was cremated. The family will receive friends at Henderson & Sons Funeral Home, South Chapel, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be made in his honor to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org
