Anthony Matthew Greci

Anthony Matthew Greci, 84, of Chesapeake, VA, passed away on September 2, 2023.

He was born on September 21, 1938. Anthony was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Anthony is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Sean Rainey, of Cheyenne, WY and Debbie and Andre Hernandez, of Chesapeake, VA; and son-in-law, Mike McNutt, of Liverpool, NY. He is also survived by his grandsons, Sean Rainey, Jr., Emilio Hernandez and Gabriel Hernandez; and his granddaughter, Elizabeth McNutt. Anthony's brother, Louis Greci, of Port Orange, FL, also survives him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Antonio and Lena Greci; daughter, Laura McNutt; sister and brother-in-law, Angie and Sam Messineo; sister, Lucy Carrier; brother and sister-in-law, Delores and Joe Greci; brother and sister-in-law, Vera and Mike Greci; brother and sister-in-law, Sophie and Ernie Greci; and his brother, Peter Greci.

Anthony attended Utica College for higher education. He proudly served in the US Air Force and his military service was a significant part of his life. In his career, Anthony made notable contributions and his dedication and hard work were commendable.

Anthony enjoyed collecting and selling antiques and had a passion for gardening. These hobbies brought him joy and allowed him to express his creativity.

The details of Anthony's ceremony and services will be shared with family and close friends.

Anthony Greci will be remembered for his love for his family and his dedication to his country. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. May he rest in peace.
