Barbara A. Tittus Davies

Barbara Anne (Musa) Tittus Davies, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2024, at the age of 79. Barbara is survived by her four children, Dean Tittus (Christine), David Tittus (Deb), Douglas Tittus (Theresa) and Dawn Tittus Grants; and ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She leaves behind a special friend who was always there for her, especially in times when her son wasn't able to be, and whom she called her adopted daughter, Gioria Saporito. Barbara was predeceased by her parents, Irene Decker Zajac and Thomas Musa; her husband, Eric Davies; her sisters, Irene Simmonds and Mary Muroski; and a brother, Leslie Decker.

Barbara was born in Syracuse on March 24, 1944, and was raised in Oswego and attended Oswego Schools. On July 15, 1961, she was united in marriage to the late Richard W. Tittus. On March 20, 1976, she married the late Eric Davies.

Barbara worked for Oneida County Sheriff's Department in the corrections division until her retirement in 1998.

In keeping with Barbara's wishes, there will be no service or calling hours. Please consider a donation in her memory to the Steven Swan Humane Society.
