Benjamin F. Brower, 93, of Holland Patent and Vero Beach, FL. passed away peacefully at home in Vero Beach, Florida with his wife by his side on February 14th, 2023.
He was born September 27th, 1929, in Utica NY a son of the late Benjamin F and Mary McWeeney Brower. He graduated from Utica Free Academy & Mohawk Valley Community College. He served in the United States Air Force for 4 years. He worked for General Electric as a Draftsman for 30 years. He loved sports, fishing, golfing and watching football and baseball.
He leaves his wife Marjorie Gargiulo Brower of 66 years, his children Audrey and Ken Lehman of Southlake,Texas, Deborah and Bob Nichols of Scottsdale, Arizona and Daniel and Patty Brower of Remsen, New York. Grandchildren McKenna and Kade Lehman, Aislinn and husband Joe Minardi, Andrew and Ashley Nichols, Hannah Brower and fiance Teddy Sergott and Brenon Brower and great Grandchildren Dorothy Minardi, Brandt and Remi Brower. As well as several nieces and nephews. He also leaves a sister Barbara and Richard Kelly. He leaves his sisters-in-law, Judy Acee and Diane Ligas and her husband John. He was predeceased by sisters Lorraine and John Mullaney, Mary and Ted Jones, Esther and John Nuber, Helen and Robert Grey and Sharon Brower, brothers-in-law John Gargiulo, and Happy Acee.
Those who wish to remember Benjamin in a special way may make a gift in his memory to VNA Hospice 1110 35th Lane Vero Beach, FL or Hospice & Palliative Care 4277 Middle Settlement Rd. New Hartford, NY 13413 in his memory. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday May 12th, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dimbleby Funeral Homes Inc. 7944 Steuben St. Holland Patent, NY, a service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. With Rev. Vincent Long officiating.
