Ms. Furmanski was my Biology and A&P teacher during my time at Whitesboro. I will never forget the smile on her face when she talked about her animals, and how she wanted to share every detail with her students about them. She always wanted the best for her students, and always had high hopes for their journeys following Whitesboro. My condolences for her family and friends.

Carol and I worked together at Whitesboro for many years. Early in our career, we often hung out, talked about animals, crafting and school. She was a gem of a teacher and person. She will be missed.. RIP, Carol...

We were colleagues for many years at Whitesboro High School. She was a gifted, highly respected science teacher. She was also respected for her loving care of animals. If there are animals in heaven, Carol will be right there with them for eternity.

I had miss Furmanski as a teacher, and a great one at that! She always wanted us to do well and would do anything to see us succeed! She is a wonderful person and big personality that will be missed dearly!

I worked with Carol for 30 years. She was a great teacher and a professional through and through. I spoke to her often about our love of animals and she comforted me when I lost my pets. She will be missed.

I am so very sorry for your loss. I only met Carol this summer while teaching summer school, but she always had a smile on her face and was very friendly. I'm saying prayers for all her loved ones.
