Carolyn Bord Obituary
On October 5, 1968, she was united in marriage to Richard A. Bord, at St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Carolyn worked at ConMed as a document control supervisor for 18 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church.
Carolyn enjoyed camping at HTR in the Adirondacks, as well as various state parks over the years. She also enjoyed making personalized calendars for her family and friends.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Richard; sons, Richard, Jr. (Tina), and Dennis (Cindy); grandchildren, Justin (Jordan), Jason (Ashley), Tyler, Jesse (Jenn), and Mason; great grandchildren, Bryleah, Colt, Haley, Olivia, Zachary, Bodhi; a special friend, Trudy Burritt; as well as several nieces and nephews; and the members of her extended family with whom she shared a special love.
The family would like to thank Dr. Reddy, the nurses, and the entire staff of Wynn Hospital for the love and compassion they showed them throughout this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life for Carolyn will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Carolyn's name to the Floyd Fire Department.
