Denise Sullivan Obituary
Denise went peacefully to be with the Lord on November 1, 2024, in the comfort of her home with her three children by her side. She was predeceased by her husband, William F. Sullivan; and parents, William H. Welch and Beryl J. Welch. She is survived by her children, Deborah (Jon) Ingerick, Kevin (Carol) Sullivan and Rebecca (Mike) Rubino; grandchildren, Aaron, Danielle, Karli, Kyle, Kurt, Kollin, Kiera, Lauren, Grace and Emma; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Denise graduated from Mohawk High School and Syracuse University. After raising three children, she worked at Wegmans, The University of Rochester and retired in 2007 as the Registrar at SUNY Geneseo.
She had an active retirement enjoying life with family and numerous friends, gardening, piano lessons, traveling, bowling, Mahjong, Geva theatre, knitting, watching college football and volunteering in the community. Her warmth, kind heart and smile will be missed by many.
The family would like to personally thank Rochester Regional Home Care for their outstanding care, kindness and support.
Family and friends are invited to Perinton Presbyterian Church on November 26, 2024, at 10 a.m. for a Celebration of Denise's life.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Denise's name can be made to: Rochester Regional Health Foundations Hospice Care (www.rrhgive.org) or Tool Thrift Shop (www.toolthriftshop.org).
